It is amazing truly incredible how our relationships in the service can evolve over time. Even though long tours may often result in physical separation, shared experiences can often bring you right back to that last moment together. Such was the case in May of 2016.
Although I had not seen my friend in nearly 2 years, we were ultimately able to reconnect and plan a fishing trip together that would take us, and three other Lazy Lab Hunting Club (LLHC) supporters, north of Kalispell, Montana. As we have seen over the last three years, the outdoors seem to bring service members back together in a rich and unique way. I can’t wait to reconnect again with my friend and hope that LLHC can continue coordinating such events to enhance and strengthen those bonds of friendship.
God bless, y’all!
