The Ohio Fishing Series in partnership with the Cleveland Browns!

The Lazy Lab Hunting Club launches a strategic partnership with the Cleveland Browns to promote local outdoor therapy for Service Members!
“Adventure Calls as Veterans and Active Duty Personnel Hit the Water to Enjoy Fishing and Fellowship on Beautiful Lake Erie.”
During these extraordinary times, disabled American Veterans are seeking to escape the pressures of daily life by spending time in the great outdoors. Today, the Lazy Lab Hunting Club (LLHC) announces its strategic partnership with the Cleveland Browns. The partners’ objective is to further develop local outdoor opportunities emphasizing fellowship, confidence, and outdoor therapy. In doing so, these waterway expeditions will honor those who have served, those who continue to serve, and those who have supported such heroes from home. Given the strength of both organizations, this partnership aims to more effectively benefit others from their collaboration. “We need strong partnerships if we are to advance outdoor forms of therapy in Ohio. By creating these opportunities together with the Cleveland Browns, we are promoting mental health, stability, and longevity for our nation’s heroes,” explains Mr. David Desrosiers, board of director’s chairman and cofounder of LLHC.
The partnership holds special promise for the state of Ohio, and offers a particular benefit for the global veteran community, with its highly interwoven sense of camaraderie and various locations where the beauty of nature may offer those mending properties. At the core of this collaboration is the experience of LLHC leadership which collectively have over 57 years of active duty service; a relevant metric exemplifying the understanding and dedication to assist service member concerns and needs.
With its in-depth expertise of military service and outdoor forms of therapy, LLHC will help the Cleveland Browns, and other leading organizations, shape the development of local expeditions for service members. The Cleveland Browns will play a crucial role in the integration as partner and advisor, thanks to its multifaceted experience and market leadership in managing the highest level of quality events. For the first time, the Cleveland Browns and the LLHC’s immense care for veterans and their families make this expedition series possible by involving local support parties, as well. This leads to the permanent improvement in the number of opportunities allotted our local veterans. Rest assured, from the senior corporate management level all the way to our volunteer staff, the Cleveland Browns and LLHC are committed to serving American military personnel and are honored to partner in these loving pursuits.

ON THE HUNT TO MEND THE HEART

In the first ever Easter Turkey Harvest, the Lazy Lab Hunting Club hosted a total of twenty-four veterans, active-duty personnel, and their dependents in perhaps the most impactful outdoor therapy opportunity we’ve accomplished yet! Not only were awardees able to harvest, as shown in the image below, but the fellowship and mending that occurred proved to be at the heart of the matter. Thank you so much to the following personnel for making this year’s event such a memorable and impactful experience: LLHC Chairman/Cofounder, Mr. David Desrosiers. LLHC Board Member, Ms. Nicole Amelio-Casper M.A. LLHC Volunteer, Mr. Joshua Arnett. LLHC Team Member, Mr. David Goodman. SALUTE TO OUR CHAIRMAN

What a weekend it was for the Lazy Lab Hunting Club! This year, we conducted the Inaugural Easter Turkey Harvest in Six Mile, South Carolina, providing an amazing weekend of turkey hunting for two American US Army Veterans. This event not only was a weekend for the veterans, but their families were also invited to share in the love and fellowship. In all, twenty-four members of the military community (active-duty personnel, veterans, and their dependents) took part in our festivities and Easter celebration. Additionally, the Easter Turkey Harvest could not have been accomplished without the guidance of our Chairman and Cofounder, Mr. David Desrosiers. He and LLHC Volunteer, Mr. Joshua Arnett, built and led an experience that no one in attendance will ever forget due to its impactful nature. If you’d like to learn more about the LLHC and our commitment to American service members, please head to https://mendtheheart.org. *** OUTDOOR THERAPY IS REAL AND ARGUABLY ONE OF THE GREATEST ASSETS AVAILABLE TO SOOTH THE SOUL ***

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure to participate in the Lazy Lab Hunting Club‘s Salute to Women Service Members. During that time, I had the privilege of befriending USMC Marine Lisa Bodenburg. Lisa was nominated to be an awardee of the LLHC’s outdoor therapy program in which the emphasis is not on the harvest but rather on fellowship and community. It is our hope that those selected to participate on our events get to share in the immense beauty of the great outdoors and are overwhelmed by the understanding that the LLHC cares tremendously about the service member’s health and mental wellness. By the looks of it, I’d say Lisa truly enjoyed the camaraderie of friends such as LLHC Liaisons Shane Luttrell and Mark Gular as well as the picturesque environment in which the hunt took place.
