In the third iteration of The Marine Meet-Up, Lazy Lab Hunting Club again teamed up with the Premier Whitetail Retreat (PWR) to provide an incredible experience for an active-duty Marine and his family. This year’s hero was SSgt Michael Nolen who currently serves at the Medical Entrance Processing Station, Detroit, as the Assistant Liaison.
This event proved to be everything that all parties hoped it would be. From the fellowship shared among newly established friendships, to the thrill of new experiences, The Marine Meet-Up is a simple reminder to us all the incredible work that can be done when leaders come together to serve those who sacrifice for our nation’s freedoms. LLHC looks forward to the future as we endeavor to continue working with organizations like PWR and the Cleveland Marines to more effectively serve our nation’s active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families.
Mr. Desrosiers, LLHC Cofounder and Chairman, provided this quote after the completion of the expedition; “The Marine Meet-Up facilitated the creation of bonds that will permeate the entire life-cycle of every branch. Whether you are a recruit, active-duty, or a veteran, we are all a part of one brotherhood and have an obligation to be there for each other.”
Thank you to all who contributed to ensure this event came to fruition. Please be assured that LLHC will remain dedicated to the service of others and will forever be on the hunt to mend the heart.
