We are so pleased to share that over the course of this Super Bowl weekend, the Lazy Lab Hunting Club in partnership with Bitterwater Outfitters (CA), conducted our Salute to Women Service Members. This weekend’s salute was conducted as part of the LLHC’s Hogs 4 Heroes initiative. However, in tactical football fashion, we called a last second audible and decided to forego our search for wild hogs and instead pursue rams.
One of our awardees on this trip was Ms. Lisa Bodenburg. Lisa is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps who’s dedication to the Corps and love of service to Americans is truly inspiring. We were so thrilled to host Lisa on this hunt (her first) and ecstatic upon the completion of her harvest. To the LLHC, Lisa truly embodies the best of the USMC core values; those being Honor, Courage and Commitment. These values are those that she has lived and fought by during her service, and which have provided the building blocks enabling her to make the right decisions at the right time, both on the battlefield and in our Nation’s communities.
Thank you for your service, Lisa, and thank you for providing a shining example to all.
